The B.O.D.Y

The B.O.D.Y.

Let’s start with your hair, so perfectly placed

At the top of your grace, at least in your case

And then those eyes, that helps me to see,

The future that I want so clearly

Those lips so sweet, like fresh Georgia peaches,

With that wonderful voice that leaves me speechless.

Your neck holds all that, with shoulders to help

So far a good start my and heart begins to melt

Down to chest, with perfect breast there

I want to but don’t, I dare not to stare

The proof of your life, that moves when you breathe

It’s in that I find that I truly believe

Now down to your stomach, where all life begins,

My seed, my baby, my life never ends

So sexy those thighs, only truth no lies.

Makes me quiver, and stand and rise

Those calves so tight, your walk, outta sight,

Open toed shoes on feet, every date night.

But the best of all is the one I can’t see

That allows you to speak to me so eloquently, so delicately

So peaceful with resilience and brilliance,

Your mind so trouble and clouded, but still I have found that

I understand you, so wonderfully.

What I think and can’t say, you already know

With a mind like that we can’t help but grow.

The Beauty Of the Design You were blessed with has captured my heart,

And I will never let go…

Eloquent poem and a tribute to the love of your heart. Nice write.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
