THE THIN MAN
hollow eyed and gray stands the thin man
on an island with a cardboard sign he's made
although his life is over
his days go on foever
as he lines his pockets with spare change
hollow eyed and gray stands the thin man
hollow eyed and gray hides the thin man
in the shelter of his corrigated cave
before he lays down to sleep
he pulls the long day off his feet
and yesterdays front page over his face
hollow eyed and gray hides the thin man
hollow eyed and gray lays the thin man
face up in his final resting place
no one even knows he's gone
and just like always life goes on
and on the island stands another in his place
hollow eyed and gray lays the thin man
on an island with a cardboard sign he's made
although his life is over
his days go on foever
as he lines his pockets with spare change
hollow eyed and gray stands the thin man
hollow eyed and gray hides the thin man
in the shelter of his corrigated cave
before he lays down to sleep
he pulls the long day off his feet
and yesterdays front page over his face
hollow eyed and gray hides the thin man
hollow eyed and gray lays the thin man
face up in his final resting place
no one even knows he's gone
and just like always life goes on
and on the island stands another in his place
hollow eyed and gray lays the thin man
