    ON THE BRINK
    the whole damn world's gone crazy
    when will it ever stop
    people stepping on your head
    while climbing to the top
    everybody's in it
    but in it for themselves
    it's give me give me give me
    all the rest can go to hell

    everybody's pushing
    fighting for a crumb
    not because they're hungry
    just because they want
    some people want anything
    that someone else might have
    they don't know why they want it
    but they really want it bad

    the whole damn world's gone crazy
    and if it doesn't stop
    we're gonna need a bucket
    and a real big fuckin' mop

    LOL! First, gotta say, the last line made me laugh. Otherwise, it was written beautifully, poignantly, and very true. Loved it!
