    Poem Commentary

    this poem is based on a true story. a friend of mine thought he had met the girl of his dreams, but soon realized his marriage was over when after a fight with his wife he fired six rounds into their wedding picture

    TARGETS OR MEMORIES
    take a picture from my mind
    scenes of laughter and good times
    have they yellowed cause of age
    or are they black and white from rage

    take a picture from my past
    can i make the good times last
    keep them locked within my soul
    or should i shoot them full of holes
