The Night
The panther is there, somewhere in the mist,
waiting for me to come near.
My mind says its a trap, go on and exist!
But my hunger makes me want to have no fear.
Lie down and let him see me clear.
Waiting for him to claim me as his own,
be his everything.
I want to be his and not a loan.
Make love to him until our hearts sing.
But am I only on a string?
Does he toy with his prey, and make me wait,
only to let me think.
Im safe, but Im not and this is my fate?
Hurt me leave me lay, nothing but a decaying stink.
Nothing but a page of black ink.
Can the leo exist with the likes of the black panther,
like anthony and cleopatra?
Or will it be just another natural disaster?
waiting for me to come near.
