    Monad or Gratuity

The duality of two souls as one.
And, they tell me its too much to ask
Like having a bracelet without a clasp
Pretty to look at, but useless all the same.
You are only as good as your claim.

Id rather be alone than to settle,
Im not jumping straight into the flame from the kettle.
Lifes too short, Lifes too long,
You want me, you gotta come strong.

Ive had better, Ive had worse,
Wore it like a thorny crown and craved it like a thirst.
Made me know the difference in me and her.
She wore rags, without love I'll wear fur.

    For the love of money,
I will act like whatever you want even be funny.
    My heart you ask?
Its like that beautiful bracelet without the clasp.

The love of money put us in a situation were we all don't want to be at times yet this second person you talk about very interesting.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
