    My lover, My pen

    Where is my missing lover?
Where did I put my pen?
They are one and the same each others cover,
Flows the love I have from within.

I never have to be alone,
My words can keep me flowing.
Keep the pace and set the tone.
Like a lovers touch keeps me glowing.

The words fill my darkest hour,
    keep me warm and dry,
I feel like Repunzle in the tower,
    but never have to cry.

His voice will break my peaceful existance,
    Let me know theres more.
    I wont have any resistance.
I will walk right through his door.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
