The Free Thinker
The scars reopen to your bloodstained tears leaving me here
beyond a place of confusion
the purposes seemed striped in fear
counting one by one your directed
dart thoughts to my heart
making clear you no longer care
for me or the railroads that
cross my path of fears
just that I shouldn't have
any worries unjustified
stuck in your craw
or ability to help
even with one big yelp
being followed yet no
guise to the platypus
glasses read your thoughts
to places unseen and match
sticks yet to be revealed
by the penguins who you
do not let me lease
though I see and hear everything
in please let's really
forget the past as you
corral me again in
pleasantries in kind police speech
