An Address to our Oppressor

Where is her American flag?
There is a conspiracy---
an evil script
you often rewrite
but never change the drift

Where is her American flag?
Fifty-fifty/an even score
"she loves you"
and couldn't ask for more
if you really loved her too---
How could you give her any less?
What is left for the woman---
who doubts man's capacity to love?

you've brainwashed more than a few
females flock to you
those who believe too---
have sold out for gold
and you call them virtuous
then leave them when they're old

Where is her American flag?
you keep her on the slave market
you ridicule
and rape her
then Jew her down
you don't know
maybe she's left town

"Must our Savior be a woman also?
you laugh.
Where is our American flag?
Has she forgotten to salute?
Must she become the prostitute?
and when she does
(you laugh,
and call her names
yet you partake in her games)*
she's the sinner
you're the winner
No stones are thrown at you
for some odd reason
you're excused
but He knows what to do
Jesus our Liberator

Some more number sums

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
