    The forsaken feeling

    Love is but a milestone that
    every person overcomes in their
    small mortal life;
    The deeper the love the harder life becomes;
    Some say it is inevitable that every
    person experiences true heartache;
    If it be from a long lost lover;
    A betrayal from a cherished friend;
    Or even the lost feeling of the first breathe a child takes without its mother;
    All are destined to weep, if not a single tear;
    For they are human and have
    the forsaken feelings of love.

    very good poem i like writing about real life issues as well. check out some of my work

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
