    Good-Bye

    Take my hand, please understand
I tried so hard to live for you
But in my heart it just isn't true.

Don't get mad, it's not what bad
    Someday, somehow you will find
The girl you won't in your mind.

I have to go, I know you know
    Even though I am leaving
My broken heart is still bleeding.

But it's wrong to stay this long
So turn around so I don't cry
I love you dear this is goodbye.

your poem is good but a little wordy, check some of the lines and omitt some of the words, your message is very good. go to the point in less words.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
