    Poem Commentary

it hurts to see that person whom you have let in and given up your dark side too

    Take Flight

      Run do not look back
do not stop for on coming love or life
go, go now and take only what is necessary

the airport is to your left

On the run again from love and pain and shame
praying for wings to fly over all that has been said and done

    a ticket for one

tears enough to drown in to float away upon in a sea of
    what have I done
to forgive, forget and move on

    coach please

Fresh and new no thought or concern for whom  YOU
recharge and live it's only a man
and it' not what you think the hype is all just glam

all I have is a carry on

these are words of from a woman that has a man to lie in her bed
    oh you'll find someone too
just don't go looking  It will happen best that way
and besides who knows who might come your way
men are like buses ever 15min so they say

yes please I like to leave today

what happens when your looks start to fade away
and your eyes or red from tears and fears and life now comes in days
and when only his touch can strike the note that carries you home
and the sound of his voice is just the right key in a lock of a door that does not turn for thee
      run take flight
do not pass go please don't look back

    destination a place call hope

This airplane is now boarding please take your seat

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
