    Competition

                           I don't compete nor will I ever
                           I will work with you
                           if we can work together

                          I am not all knowing
                                        nor either or you
I have never walk in a shadow
well maybe to only to keep cool

Just as I was hired so were you in today's
economy staying employ is like saying
who dies first gets all the toys it is not easy
                           just follow the rules
inform and keep up, do your job and I'll do mine
Supplying you with reason's why I shine sometimes
brighter then you and tell you all the things you should
perhaps should not do is not my job
                                 let me do me
                                           and you do you
This is not a competition so back off see
there are no winners or prize not even a guarantee
I need this job as well as you
                          so am asking you
can't we all just work together
that's a familiar tune  you really don't have to                                                compete  with me
and I will never compete with you long as I got mine                                there is enough to get yours too

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
