    Are You Really Listening

    We pray before we eat
    We pray before we sleep
We pray when we awake to start the day
    We pray before we Travel

We pray for health and well being, home, life ,love, happiness we pray
We pray for good to over come evil and  we pray for protection

do you still lock your doors and look over your shoulder
do you tell your kids to not to talk to strangers one might be and Angel
and when did Angels become a threat or they not the passage too and yet
do you walk faster on the streets when the night lights began sweep the
corners of dark debris that lurk in hidding places unknow to you and me

We pray for each other and mothers and fathers sisters and brothers
daughters and sons and we are all praying each and ever one for each other we pray for there is no special chant or syllabus or verb we pray because we heard

He may not  come when we want him to , but he's always on time
and what time is that and when will he arrive is it any time soon
babies are dyeing people are crying can't tell each other the truth homes are being lost lines are being cross disease running rampit who do you know who die from the flu
we pray for him to take it away
can I get an Aman with that too

We pray for a resoluation to a solution that has yet to be resolved and yet we continue to pray each and ever day to  Jesus  to Alai  To Bubda To God
we pray ,but with all this praying going and yet his eye is on the sparrow and he knows each star by name and each hair on yours and mine head he counts by number  so don't be afraid  PRAY

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
