    Death of an Icon

    Extra! Extra!
Read and write and blog antoher icon has gone to God
the difition of an icon escape me till I look it up and you see
there is where uhmm I could not see how some of us look at people
like Whitney and Heavy D' and lable them icons is it just me

    Extra! Extra!
let me help you see the difition in 2004 could not make me beleive
so to  look for more the difition in 2005 made the thought came
alive as an object of great attention and devotion still in my thoughts just
what have they given to us I second that emotion Smokey Robinson might say, but as for Marvin Gay, Etta James at last I see what it is they gave

    Extra! Extra!
Read all about it Love is what they gave Love that sometime came and stay Love that play a melody of hope for some like you and me
Love and heart break sorrow and shame cause when I get that feeling
words just can not explain now that we found love and it has gone away
what just what are we to do with it .Pray

    Extra! Extra!
Our condolence is sent to thier families we may not have known them as you did with much respect we apprecate what they did the music and words that sometime came from the hearts of Love and Fun and Pain
Rest in Peace from fans like me that understand what an icon is now I see

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
