T E N D E R N E S S
How can I put you in words or in lines
When everything in you so sweet to me?
My words are short, my lines are incomplete
Where charm is boundless in you as can be
I am a man who was born to enjoy
Charm everywhere, in Nature or in thee
A man who can see no end of the good
In Life and Mankind, won't you then agree?
We have no choice in this life but to take
Life as it comes, with its Faith or Deceit
We're destined, I believe, to what we are
Like ships drifted by winds without retreat
To make the best of Life should be a goal
Before life runs away, Life won't repeat
Let's give and take, let's bring joy where we can
To waste such chance would be our defeat
To me your presence is a special tune
That cheers my ego and enchants my heart
Like birds that sing and blossoms of the spring
So pure and lovely, so tempting and white
Like summer daisies that invite my touch
And morning dew so tender to my sight
If I don't write my poems for your charm
I wonder for whom should I ever write!
