Portrait of a Terrorist
In every race and every faith
His portrait is the same
Disdainful of the human life
And Freedom he may claim
Vengeful, resentful, with no cause
Fetching scapegoats to blame
Totally blind to Right and Truth
And has no sense of shame
He's void of common sense to know
His acts are sheer bold crime
He lives like bats, and moves like snakes
Detached from Faith and Time
A prisoner of his dreams and thoughts
That are not worth a dime
He lacks the will to win a life
Successful and sublime
His menace spares no helpless child
Or a woman, far or near
He's an outcast to human race
Dispersing death and fear
He hails martyrdom, what a joke!
While Heaven's road is clear
Be human, honest, true and pure
And care for others, dear.
His portrait is the same
Disdainful of the human life
And Freedom he may claim
Vengeful, resentful, with no cause
Fetching scapegoats to blame
Totally blind to Right and Truth
And has no sense of shame
He's void of common sense to know
His acts are sheer bold crime
He lives like bats, and moves like snakes
Detached from Faith and Time
A prisoner of his dreams and thoughts
That are not worth a dime
He lacks the will to win a life
Successful and sublime
His menace spares no helpless child
Or a woman, far or near
He's an outcast to human race
Dispersing death and fear
He hails martyrdom, what a joke!
While Heaven's road is clear
Be human, honest, true and pure
And care for others, dear.
