    Seaside

The moon glistening on the ocean
The night dark with no emotion
    Driving around in the car
Wondering if we’ll be close or far
The lights of life shine so bright
When will the end meet this night?
Eyes shut and wind in my face
Music playing at a soothing pace
Over the Seaside bridge seeing the life of this town
Will anything ever take us all down?
Yes this night is close to its ending hour
Tomorrow will be here like the springs blooming flower

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
