    Confusion

    My mind wants to speak
    My thoughts want to cry
For unknown reasons I want to sigh
The creator of this night has left me with nothing to do
Now images of regret appear and I’m thinking of you
Confusion is as common as the starts in a summer night
I want to be happy and In love…
    To think, someday I might
The tears swell up in my eyes for no reason at all
Now is the time my creator watches me fall
    Goodbye sweet night
    Goodnight sweet day
Hello tomorrow, I’m here to stay.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
