How do I find the words that reveal
the poetic soul, that will a poet yield.
It is the need to speak and share
the thoughts of the soul for which we care.

A little talent, and a lot of heart,
displayed by crafting words to art,
that are placed in a way that will find
a similar feeling in a responsive mind.

The soul, then wishes its' feelings to share,
and speaks words for the soul that touch it there.
Reciprocal feelings, then form a bond
of which the soul is often fond.

Though the soul alone can the words enjoy,
the feeling enlarges when he can employ
another soul, that will also feel
the words can touch the feelings so real.

Two souls are thus better than one,
for the soul is alone when it's said and done,
and the poetic soul is alone forlorn,
but in finding another, a poet is born.
