    Unrequited L.O.V.E

    A sad and moonlit rhapsody,

    the silver night-bird sings...

while roses shed their crimson hue,

and turn a shade of palest blue.

The stars appear to fade away,

    inside the phantom mists,

that whisper of a time long past,

when on my soul...a spell you cast.

    Like treasure deeply tucked away.

    inside the ancient seas,

    your heart remains a mystery,

those words of love...you spoke to me.

    I cannot change this destiny,

your face is all I 'll ever see,

and I will never let you go,

    ....those promises...softly heard.
