Fades Away
The sky and the earth,The fowls that play,
Day turns to night,
As it all fades away;
The good and the bad,
Heaven and hell
Unspoken words forbidden to tell!
The maiden, the mother,
The wise one indeed,
One turns from the sun,
Where the fool tries to lead;
The lover, the liar,
The path and the pool,
The king in his kingdom,
The queen when she rules!
The fool and the prince,
The mother, the child,
The king and the proper,
The weak and the wild;
The sky and the earth,
The fowls that play,
Day turns to night,
As it all fades away.
