I wish to forget all that I've been
the people I've met, the places I've seen
sadness so strong it crushes my heart
I can't move on while it tears me apart

sadness so strong it crushes my heart
I can't move on while it tears me apart
When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
