Fragile People
Do you know what it is to be fragileto be finer than china
thinner than thread
the cry of a child fills you with dread
fainter than a whisper
softer than a purr
the scent of a flower is a powerful lure
pierced by rain drops
bruised by a breeze
one who is fragile is never at ease
burned by a spark
drowned by the dark
a clap on the shoulder leaves a terrible mark
beaten by glares
cut by words
fragile people can't survive in this world
