Confidence
There are many things I loveThose things I can tell all
There are many things I hate
Those things I sole recall
I repeat them to myself
Till I've worn myself to gray
I cause myself to believe
Those things I cannot say
I lose to my insecurities,
deny myself the luxury of faith
I cause myself to suffer and
accuse the world for being scathed
But for once myself I shall allow
To close the long divide
I will let myself be free to feel
Let my heart and mind coincide
She is a special case and
in her I believe with both
logic and emotions towards
acceptance compelling me
Throughout so many years
I have seen time and again:
My friend she will remain
For she is truly genuine.
An elation of the highest level,
I am flooding with that sense
For I can have more than faith
-In her I have confidence.
