    I Understand

    I understand

    What your going through,

I feel your anger, and I see your pain , let me explain

I have been there felt like that, betrayed , lied to, and played

With another, another lover , undercover with the famous brother

    I understand

You said " we’re just friends"

Friends enough for you to fly to his home, and meet his Bro.

Friends enough for you to unclothe, to put on his robe, like some hoe

Friends enough for you to sleep in his bed, like you were just wed

    I understand

What you said,You made him atone, when he tried acting like your beau, touching your body my throne

Should I believe what my mind knows is so, or trust my soul, and for love, just let it go

I didn’t know, only time could reveal the unknown, and heal this hearts hole

     I understand

But, I didn’t mean to hurt you that way, it was supposed to be just sex play, for a day

I didn’t mean for you to question if love was still alive, am I content, and satisfied

I didn’t mean for some woman’s lust, to crush your trust , I’m yours believe me you must

    I understand

The ache,Of thinking your one love was with another, is it true, or in your mind you wonder

The anger eats you up inside, You want to leave, but fate won’t step aside

can’t let go of your heart not knowing, did he or did he not, uncertainty growing

    I understand

Let it go,Time will reveal the unknown, and heal your hearts hole, my kindred soul

I know because I have been their, felt like that, but it wasn’t tit for tat

I know because I’m still here, and our love is P.H.A.T, and that’s a fact

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
