Haunting Memory
In the endless abyss of night
She wanders the shore
Clenching a tattered journal ever so tight
Searching for something that is no more
Locals swear they hear her cries
Echoing in from the crashing waves
Lost and burdened from a lifetime of lies
The memory of her death she saves
Cursed to wander the beach
Unaware of her destiny
Something so far out of reach
The last moment she could not see
Unable to make out the face
That brought upon her demise
Her homicide now a cold case
She remembers only the lullaby's
Some say you can see her there
Sometimes just her journal in the sands
Wander down if you dare
By the water where she stands
If you are open to what you may see
You may just catch a glimpse of her haunting memory....
She wanders the shore
Clenching a tattered journal ever so tight
Searching for something that is no more
Locals swear they hear her cries
Echoing in from the crashing waves
Lost and burdened from a lifetime of lies
The memory of her death she saves
Cursed to wander the beach
Unaware of her destiny
Something so far out of reach
The last moment she could not see
Unable to make out the face
That brought upon her demise
Her homicide now a cold case
She remembers only the lullaby's
Some say you can see her there
Sometimes just her journal in the sands
Wander down if you dare
By the water where she stands
If you are open to what you may see
You may just catch a glimpse of her haunting memory....
