    Dare To

On the day I am to meet you
    will you embrace my flaws
    Though you've sought such truth
aren't we all human under laws
Bargain here, and you shall surely fail
for I am not a token
    Passion by theory will prevail
    and silence be eternally broken
Understand that my heart is no prize
bound by chains held captive by my soul
Search the depths through my eyes
    dare to lose control.....

oh wow you are good, this poem as well as the Bayou poem is good. you really know how to write and send goose bumps down my arms.great job.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
