The Bayou
Black magic has set the stage
the wonders, the mysteries, and the rage
Conjuring spirits the world has known
deep into the bayou overgrown
Be cautious, and fully aware
you can not cross the threshold there
Protection from the greater dawn
there on the walls it is drawn
Animals lay lifeless, enabled
Possessed by all that is fabled
The air is stiff, damp...cold
answers ly hidden beneath stories untold
Wander in if you truly dare
where the tombs lay baron and bare
No one can save you once inside
peril has come to all who've tried
Vipers shall taunt
spirits will haunt
It will not matter what you do
once you've entered the bayou.
