Dear Liquor
We first metwhen I was 16
I think my brother made the intro
just the perfect way to start my intro
It was love at first sight
you know I was the type
sneak out the house to
come and see you at night
tried to hide you from people though
but you know my dad was real
I had your smell on my body
and grille
ignored the warnings from my mommy and still
she said you'd get me into trouble
I didn't listen
thought I was keepin' it real
Me and my cousin used to kick it with you
some of the best times in my life
and now Im older
Threatining to lose me my wife
or even worse
you damn near cost me life
had you ridin' in the car on my lap
i damn near ran through the light
cost me money like a thief in the night
try and lie about the times
we spendin'
knowin' that I aint right
I swear to God I tried to put up a fight
but i dont think it's any use
thats why I sleep alone
at night
(hook)
Dear liquor
I just can't leave you alone
Dear liquor
You make me missin' time at home
Dear Liquor
Cant you just let me be
you costin' me my friends and my family
Dear Liquor
I don't wanna see you again
Dear Liquor
I thought you were supposed to be my friend
Dear Liquor
Why can't you just let me go
you damn sure got me sprung but I don't want you no mo'
