Contemplating possibilities

Contemplating possibilities

Is it possible to have the fairy tale?

To eat and breathe love

Be wrapped in the sweet tenderness of adoration

I want to feel the blush in my cheeks from his smile

See the wonder as he stares

The small tremble in my heart as he laughs

To catch my breath at a longing glance

Giggle at a playful hug,

Feel heat in a soft caress.

To know without a doubt

I am the core of life for him

And he for me.

Every word, every gesture

meant only to reinforce

I am his world

He is my existence.

I want to never be afraid it will be gone

never worry if I’ve lost his attention

never feel this empty longing

This sad wanting that pulls at my heart.

Can the agony of reality be suspended?

Some how made easier?

Can one heart save another?

Save them from a life filled with dull monotony?

Bring light and contentment?

Is it possibly to have the fairy tale?

In my possibly peculiar opinion, fairy tales may very well be a reality - in Earth's past, and on other planets today. However, here's how I look at it, in this particular age on this planet, most of us are here for tests and lessons, to learn and help others. Unfortunately, for now, fairy tales are relegated to moments. We can actively create these moments, then enjoy them as much as reasonably possible, and then do something else nice for someone or for an animal some time later, or whenever God provides us with opportunities to do so. Beyond that, and admittedly annoyingly, life and uncertainty are synonymous. Generally speaking, I think the best we can do is be blessed to live approximately one-tenth of a genuine ancient fairy tale. Also, one could say that fairy tales could be classified as a sort of long-ago paranormality. Therefore, and loosely, and with serious caution, there are today many positive paranormal elements. Maybe you could partially satiate your cravings for fairy tales and/or love with research on such subjects. And I'll bet you love fantasy art, like me! God bless!!

I know what you mean, and as someone who has found "love", i am still wondering that... great emotion in this! Excellent read! On a side note, I was stationed at Camp Lejuene for 4 years!

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
