COLORLESS WORLD
THE SEA, ALL SEE’S THE SAME
THE MOUNTAINS, ALL SEE’S THE SAME
THE SKY ALWAYS CHANGING
BUT, YET STILL
ALL SEE’S THE SAME
IS IT BLACK OR WHITE
RED OR YELLOW
OR DOES IT MATTER
FOR COLOR IS THE ASPECT OF THINGS
MAYBE BY SHAPE
POSSIBLE BY SIZE
OR A FORM OF SOLIDITY
AS WE MIGHT SEE IT
A HUE OR A TINT
CAUSED BY DIFFERENT DEGREES
OR DEGREES OF LIGHT
SOME CAN BE REFLECTED
SOME CAN BE EMITTED
EVEN BY ALL THIS
STILL A COLORLESS WORLD IT SEEMS
THE BLOOD IS ALWAYS RED
THE HEART IS ALWAYS PURE
THE MINDS THAT MUST LEARN
ONE WORLD IS ALL WE HAVE
SOMETHING WE SHOULD RECONSIDER BEFORE BURNING
