33 Chilean Miners
33 miners of copper and gold
A story always to be told
17 days of only night did anyone know our plight?
Deep under ground 2041 ft
almost straight down and not a bit of sound
How could we defeat 93 degrees of heat?
Dissipating hope how could we cope?
400 horrible, horrendous dark hours
We thought
too deep to push up the flowers
On the 17th day
Although we thought it was night
A long awaited "6 in." hole Drilled through to our site
Nerves tapping, hearts pounding Did they die?
Or could they be alive
The world standing by
"THEIR ALL ALIVE"The longest to survive in history
Soon to be a movie, not a mystery
How did they survive?
could we rescue them alive?
52 more days as in hell a story they lived to tell
Anxiously awaiting to see Children and wifes
they would take the ride of their lifes
In a rocket type cage one by one they were lifted
through a man size hole, as if with special powers
they reached Ground zero in a ¼ hour
69 nights, seemed no days
weaned on our sanity
but not all in vanity
It took 33 days to drill the 2000 ft hole
Remember Jesus died at 33
And on 10-13-10 which = 33
Love was not mis-directed when 33 men were resurrected !
