Without Mommy...
She slides on her uniform, packs her bags. As she put
her bags in the car, her
husband carries their 6 month
baby girl to the car. Holding
her husbands hand as they
head to the base. She looks
in the backseat and then
back at her husband. Over
and over again she tells
them both, that she will be
home and that everything
is going to be okay. She
kisses them both goodbye,
as tears fall from her eyes.
As months go by she writes
and calls as much as she can.
Now her husband gets letter,
but not from her. Now, she's
coming home to be laid to
rest. Her husband of 3 years
get to carry on with life with
their 10 month baby girl, but
with a big hole. Cause it's all
without mommy.
