Poem Commentary

This is a poem that I wrote for Royal of One Flew South. I have had the honor of getting to know him. I don't know him really good but I can tell you that he is an amazing man. Anyone who knows him is very lucky.

Unknown Name

A single father of two boys.

He goes out and shows the

World his amazing talents.

Leaving his boys back home,

But counting down the days

Til he get to go home. He’s

Always there for his friends

And famliy that need him.

When you need advice you

Can always count on him. He

Has a place in his heart for all

He knows. Everyone who

Knows him feels honored.

Those in his life don’t only

Feel honored but can’t

Help but love him…

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
