Poem Commentary

This is about Chris Roberts of One Flew South. He is an amazing friend. He is also a very talented man. I have gotten the honor to get to knew him. And even more honored to be able to call him my friend.

He’s a father, that any

Little girl could dream of

Having, but only two get

The honor. A husband

That every gal dreams

Of having, and one lucky

Lady gets that honor til

Death do them part. As

He goes around sharing

His wonderful talent with

All, leaving his wonderful

Family at home. He never

Misses the chance to show

Everyone his wonderful

Faliy that is at home

Waiting for his return.

But unil then, we all will

Thank god for letting us

All know such a great guy,

Letting us at least have the

Honor of calling him our

Friend.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
