Welcome To The Game
Dude caught a case and is doing a five year bid in the binhe was conveniently introduced to you by a friend of a friend
the two of you exchange letters, cards and lots of conversation over the next coupla weeks. But more importantly, he tells you your the one he seeks.
The next coupla weeks you constantly find yourself ending the conversation with,"babe, i cant make it this week either"
you hear his whole demeanor change as he lets out a sigh!
and you conveniently start thinking of ways to make that long trip upstate as you say goodbye.
After the long bus ride you finally meet your stallion face to face and he is everything you imagined everything you dreamed of just Gods gift to the human race.
His body is cut like a perfectly carved sculpture and your eyes are popping out of your head as if you wish to devour him as if you were a vulture. He tells you everything you want to hear, his words are singing you the perfect song and you convince your self this is the man you've been dreaming about all along.
He tells you your his girl and when he gets out in a year, your the only one he will ever need, the only one he'll keep near. And you believe every word he says and to prove your loyalty to him you take your rent money to put on his books and lets not talk about the collect calls. But you say he's my man hes' worth it all.
Two weeks later you receive a letter in the mail addressed to a Tiesha Smith you were just about to give it back to the mailman until you realized if was from your man Mr. It. You opened up the envelope and carefully read its contents only to find that you are not the only one he calls his shorty or his boo, nor are you the only one visiting and sending money too.
The next coupla days you wait anxiously for your man to call to appologize or better yet just explain. But he's already aware of the huge mistake he made so the only thing he can say is, WELCOME TO THE GAME.
