    Mental Abuse

Everyday i felt excruciating pain from your viscious blows.

I dont know if the scars will ever heal, only God knows.

Sometimes you beat me beyond recognition, familymemeber couldn't figure out how i got in such a terrible condition.

I remember wishing you took it easy on me and just broke a coupla' bones, instead of breaking my spirit.

It went on for so long, I still dont know how i was able to bear it

Doctors diagnosed me as being insane
but, i'm a goddess and a queen and on my throne i will again reign!

I am strong and resilient like a precious sapphire stone, you thought you had all the control, but you forgot about my father God who sit on the throne.

    Now look whose all alone!

I liked this one. It is true that sometimes mental abuse can be worse than physical because the body heals faster than the fragile psyche . Good read...and I liked the rhythm as well. Thank you for sharing this. May the kudos be with you. Cheers!!!

Glad you liked it Crazzyy4u. If you listen to negativity long enough eventually you start believing what you hear

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
