Way Deep Down Inside
Way Deep Down Inside I feel like a clown.
Some times I feel like a Beauty Queen who deserve a crown.
But most of the time I sit around with a frown and bring those around me down.
Way Deep Down Inside I feel sad.
There are times when I am mad.
I often tell myself I should be glad.
I don't like when I feel like I've been had.
Way Deep Down Inside I feel like I want to cry.
My heart really wants to try.
Whenever my tears escape, I look up toward the sky so my tracks of sadness will dry.
Way Deep Down Inside I know I could be fun.
Play outside with kids in the sun.
Relax and throw my hair up in a bun.
Way Deep Down Inside I know I am strong.
We all have done a little wrong.
And I know exactly where I belong.
I'm tired of singing this sad same old song.
