    My Pride
    From the moment you were born
    We could not be torn
    The love I hold in my heart for you 
    Is the kind of love that is true
    You are my life, and for that I am PROUD
    Never ashamed, I'll say it out LOUD
    How could I forget the first time you 
    walked
    How precious the moment when you first
    talked
    The day I sent you off to school, 
    it was so cute, you thought you were cool
    I'll always cherish your excitement 
    whenever you got a good grade
    These special times I'll never trade
    As you grow older and soon leave my side
    I will always be here for you, MY PRIDE.

    Beautiful piece from mother to child. $20 bucks says your children will pick up mom's talent for poetry ;) At least they'll have a great teacher. Another 10.

    Thank you, and I could never get tired. And your right, my children write poems and my drummer son, writes songs. I have never had someone read more than just a few poems, so thanks again. Makes writing that more worth while.

    If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
