Now You Need Me
Now you need me, when I'm gone. Crying because nowyou're all alone. We were two, but you only knew
one. And you're wondering how could we be done.
You refused to use a stepping stone.
Now you need me, when I'm gone. Blind to all the
hurt you have brought upon me. Deaf were you, not
hear my plea. In your eyes, your wrong was your
right. This to be turned around and put on me, over
and over I let it be. Time to change my destiny,
and it will be me that you envy. Looking straight,
keeping my focus, no more empty promises, no more
us. From your pain I will refrain, I've got my life
to gain. I'm leaving behind the sorrow, seeking a
better tomorrow.
Now you need me, when I'm gone. No more sadness to
swallow, no more feeling hallow. Never again will I
feel alone and empty. I have lots of love, good and
plenty.
