    Vanity

A pain that holds me in contempt,
    Time that was never spent,
But in the end will I know Who brought me here? Is it the ghost of humanity? I seem to doubt thee All that is lost will never again be. So tired of the hesitation That has brought me nowhere. A certain vanity fills us all But in the end we are all the same Our beauty can not be kept for all time
It is our souls that will reflect
So come to me sweet sanity
For I can not distance the call
Because in the end all will fall.
