    Ugly Weed

    The
    ugly weed
    in the garden
    of flowers
    is not wanted
    by the world
    that values
    beauty
    above
    all.

    But
    beauty,
    like
    the world,
    is surface deep,
    Pull up
    the flowers--

    And you find the dirt.

There is beauty in every living thing on this earth... There is just as much beauty in every part of the earth itself... Even if we don't know the why's and what for's of it, there is purpose for all things... As humans perch themselves atop the food chain holding relative power and dominion over most of the earth's resources and it's inhabitants; animal, vegetable, and mineral, it is our responsibility to act responsibly with respect to all things... It's our job to care... We live here... Great short write again... You do, have a way with such a few well chosen words...

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
