    Hypocrisy

    Hypocrisy
    destroys the heart
    of the church
    that speaks
    one tongue
    and lives
    another life,
    --its eyes
    spill the truth
    of lies
    and lusts
    bared so slyly
    as a beauty slides
    by, and
    the hypocrisy
    continues to sing
    Praises
    to the Above
    as thoughts
    continue in lust
    here below,
    --and also
    in sin, stands
    the believer,
    who denies
    the truth
    that in the midst
    of the hands raised
    lies hypocrisy.

So true.... Hypocrisy has been one of the mainstay arguments against organized religion since it's inception in ancient history... The only moral argument against that comes from the Bible itself, where God tells everyone that all are human, and are therefore flawed... "Let him cast the first stone, who is without sin"... Hypocrisy is only one flaw, but it doesn't make mankind bad all by itself; just morally wrong for being it... All have the option of redemption of sins through the only one who's opinion matters; the Holy Trinity... A very good write....

you make a very valid point here .....i really like the way you speak with out saying too much and ending up saying too much a killing the validity of you message.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
