    Truth Revealed

    A mirror gifts
    the power to walk away, or not.
    At least no one else is the wiser;
    for as the image goes
    so the mind goes.
    But always,
    there is a panic
    to hide, quickly hide--
    from the contempt of the camera,
    for it imprisons
    Forever.
    And then wise will the mind be
    to the reality;
    for the truth, once revealed,
    does not have the power
    to walk away.

    This is awesome. I never thought of mirrors quite like this before. Well done!

    Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

    Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
