    The Vow

I come to you with my heart so free
To have my life to share with me.
To take my hand and lead the way.
From the beginning until our final day.

Can we walk through life with the greatest of ease?
Probably not, but I'm easy to please.
I'm looking for comfort at the end of the day,
And to wake with the knowledge it will start the same way.

I feel in my soul I have a lot to give.
I have a free spirit and a zest to live.
So I offer my heart in all that comes along,
With that to give, how could we go wrong?

beautifully said. i wish someone would say those vows with me. another 10

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
