All In A Days Work
Coffee with cream to start the day,
A fluff, a buff and on my way.
The traffic jams and morning grind,
Is something I'd rather leave behind.
The boss is late, that's no suprise,
And waltzes in wiping sleep from his eyes.
The day is off to an eventful start,
But now I must contiinue to do my part.
As coffee wears off, I begin to drag,
I've done my best with no need to brag.
I head to do lunch with all my friends
And as the gossip gets juicy, the hour ends.
Back to work with the same drive as before.
I hit the ground running as I walk through the door.
The minutes tick by and finally get passed.
It's the end of the work day- FREE AT LAST!
The drive to the house moves so slow,
The anger and furstration are about to blow.
My driveway in sight, and I silently cheer,
One weekday over and bedtime is near.
Pasta and wine to end the day,
Jammies and Tivo, I'm on my way.
Housewives and Top chef are all I view,
Next thing I know it's the morning news!

And as the gossip gets juicy, the hour ends.
