The Love a Daughter has for her Mother

The Love a Daughter has for her Mother

A deep love you may not see,
To hide a pain from thee,
 To protect you from the hurt and the shame;
 That grows so deep within me.
The love a Daughter has for her Mother
The heartache and pain I caused you,
 Only to run from the pain I didn't want to face;
 The feeling no one knew of the deep shame,
 But God knew and saw my pain.
 For I vowed never to tell you,
Because I didn't want to bring you anymore pain.
The love a Daughter has for her Mother
Never to worry;
 For you are not to blame,
 You are a mother who did her best to raise.
 Now release all of your pain;
 You hurt deep within and I know about that kind of pain.
 For two abused people should never be ashamed.
The love a Daughter has for her Mother
For I gave my life to God and I'm asking you to do the same,
 And never to worry about it ever again;
 For God has freed me from my pain,
To forgive and never forget,
for God will use you to help someone who is in pain.
The Love a Heavenly Father has for his Daughter
Never forget I truly do love you,
 For you where the best;
 And I thank God that you are my mother.
The Love a Daughter has for her Mother

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
