The Loss
Together we lie… apart through time… You don’t remember the touch and feel of being tied… being together…Remember the power of attraction that used to replace this separation...
This bed is hollow cold... Selfish... ALONE!!
You said so much I meant it at the time… now nothing is the same... only memories remain...
And the walls grow thicker till they separate the distance that once was a touch... a fond yet bitter memory haunts these hollow walls the voices of what was passion now taunts and tease..
Tormenting my mind… Leaving us torn... Leaving us untrue to what was once sworn... I lay next to a stranger who was once a lover… Such lovers…
Nothing hurts as much as the distance before my eyes… As you lay right beside me… Remember what used to be… See what is... Leave the passion to die within...
