The Change
I'm changing and I know it, as I cling to my inner child,That cries to me in sleep, preparing for her demise.
The scars of life I bare, noone else can really see,
The scars are hidden deep,
deep inside of me.
and I see my soul awakening, to a bigger brighter view,
A peaceful me, a positive me,
something hard for me to do.
I can see myself changing,
The years I thought I'd see,
I'm changing for the better,
A step up from being just me.
So I'll continue changing
but the child that lives inside,
Has packed her bags is on her way,
of becoming a butterfly
